Dicentra spectabilis - Gold Heart

A striking twist on the classic bleeding heart, ‘Gold Heart’ features radiant golden chartreuse foliage that adds brightness to shady gardens, beautifully offsetting pendulous rose-pink and white heart-shaped blooms in late spring. This 2–3 eye division ensures a fuller plant with multiple blooming stems, reaching 18–24″ tall and spreading 24–36″—perfect for woodland borders, shade beds, or container edges. Thrives in part to full shade with consistently moist, humus-rich soil; foliage may go dormant in summer heat or dry conditions. Deer- and rabbit-resistant, and a favorite of hummingbirds and bees, ‘Gold Heart’ offers both foliage interest and pollinator attraction.
