Aquilegia vulgaris - Black Barlow

‘Black Barlow’ is a dramatic double-flowered columbine with deep mahogany-black blossoms held aloft on airy stems in late spring. Its gray-green, lobed foliage forms a compact mound, making it an excellent cut flower and striking garden accent. Thriving in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soil, it remains low-maintenance, deer- and rabbit-resistant, while attracting pollinators. A bold, timeless addition to mixed borders.
