Extremely fragrant, the small, 1-inch, white and yellow, daisy-like flowers have a pineapple or apple-like scent. Feathery foliage is covered with blossoms from late spring through summer.

Gardener's Notes: In spring, when night temperatures stay above 50F (10C), scatter seeds and cover lightly, 1/4 inch deep, in a sunny spot in well-drained soil. OR start seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before last frost. Thin or transplant seedlings to 6 inches apart. Harvest fully open blossoms frequently, then air dry and store in a sealed container for making tea. Chamomile often self-sows if flowers are left on plants at season's end.
