Gardener's Notes: Sow directly outdoors after the last spring frost when night temperatures stay above 50F (10C), or start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost. Sow seeds 3-4 inches apart in fertile, well-drained soil. When seedlings are established, thin to stand 6 inches apart. (Thinned seedlings can be transplanted). Keep soil moist especially during dry periods. Remove spent flowers to promote blooming.
