Hemerocallis - Fooled Me

A celebrated, dormant tetraploid daylily, ‘Fooled Me’ dazzles with large 5½″ golden-yellow blooms showcasing a dramatic deep-red eye and matching picotee edge, set atop 24″ clumps of arching foliage. Each flower lasts around 16 hours, opening mid-morning and persisting into the evening, with tight buds ensuring continuous color for weeks during early to mid‑summer. Awarded the prestigious Stout Silver Medal (2005) for outstanding garden performance and resilience, this cultivar thrives in zones 2–9, in full sun to part shade, tolerates drought and heat, and attracts both butterflies and hummingbirds, all while resisting rabbits.
