Delphinium grandiflorum - Blue Butterfly

A delicate and charming dwarf larkspur, ‘Blue Butterfly’ dazzles with loose, airy racemes of intense ultramarine-blue flowers topped with tiny contrasting white “bee” centers. Growing to about 12–15 in tall with equally graceful width, its finely dissected foliage creates a soft-textured mound ideal for front-of-border or container planting. Blooming from early to mid-summer (June–July), it reliably attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Hardy yet heat-tolerant, deer-resistant, and often short-lived, this variety thrives in well-drained, fertile soil with full sun exposure.
