TUBEROSE

The Pink Sapphire is a stunning flower bulb that produces multiple soft pink, double flowers on long stems that can reach up to 40 inches tall. The heavenly fragrance of the tuberose has made it one of the most sought-after blooms for fragrant cutting gardens and as a border plant. The flowers appear in early summer and retain their beauty and sweet perfume all season long. They attract pollinators, too! This variety of tuberose is a hybrid of the florist Polianthes tuberosa and the hardier Mexican Polianthes howardii, making it a hardy and resilient plant that performs very well in sunny northern landscapes. Plant the “Double Polianthes - Pink Sapphire” in a sunny patio container or near a walkway where garden visitors can delight in its beauty. It’s also a superb cut flower that can be used to create stunning floral arrangements.
