Echinacea purpurea - Pretty Parasols

Echinacea purpurea ‘Pretty Parasols’ is a striking bi‑colored coneflower with umbrella‑like blooms: petals start pale pink in the center, softly fading to white at the tips, surrounding an orange‑red cone. Towering on strong, multi‑branched stems, this cultivar reaches 90–100 cm (36–40″) tall and spans about 60 cm (24″), making it a standout in borders, containers, or meadow plantings. It blooms reliably from early summer into fall—first frost—with waves of flowers at different heights, giving a natural, layered look. Exceptionally tough, it thrives in full sun to part shade, tolerates drought and wind, resists deer, and attracts bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds—offering cut‑flower quality and winter wildlife interest.
