ELDERBERRY - MARGE

The Elderberry 'Marge' is a hybrid variety combining the disease resistance of American elderberries with the larger berries of European types. This self-pollinating plant starts producing fruit in its second year and yields abundant, antioxidant-rich elderberries ideal for syrups, jams, wines, and immune-boosting remedies. Its flowers bloom on last year’s growth, making it a reliable and productive garden addition.

Thriving in well-drained soil and full sun, 'Marge' is a robust, low-maintenance choice for gardeners seeking flavorful and versatile berries with health benefits.

Elderberries are self-pollinating but will produce larger yields if cross-pollinated with other varieties.Ā
