Digitalis purpurea - Dalmatian Purple
A Fleuroselect Gold Medal winner and RHS Award recipient, ‘Dalmatian Purple’ foxglove presents early-summer tall spikes of clean lilac-purple, outward-facing bell flowers marked with maroon-spotted throats. Compact yet vigorous, it blooms in its first year, growing 16–36″ tall with sturdy rosettes of fuzzy green foliage that require no staking. This fast-finishing variety thrives in sun to part shade, tolerates moisture well and attracts pollinators like bees and hummingbirds. Also charming in containers, it's deer- and rabbit-resistant but all parts are toxic if ingested
