Ligularia dentata - Pandora

A compact and striking selection, Ligularia dentata ‘Pandora’ forms a dense, low-growing clump of glossy, deep-purple foliage that matures to bronze-green over the season, offering bold contrast in shady garden beds. In mid to late summer, slender garnet-red stems emerge, each topped with bright golden-yellow daisy-like blooms that stand out brilliantly above the foliage. Growing only about 12–16 in (30–40 cm) tall and spreading 14–20 in (35–50 cm) wide, it fits beautifully into tight spaces, containers, or as a foreground specimen in moist shade gardens. Deer-resistant, pollinator-friendly, and thriving in even, moist soil, ‘Pandora’ is low-maintenance and perfect for adding drama in small spaces.
