VITIS HIMROD SEEDLESS

A vigorous and cold‑hardy vine ideal for Canadian gardeners, the Himrod Seedless produces large loose clusters of golden‑yellow, sweet, crisp grapes that are excellent for fresh eating, juicing or drying into raisins. Developed in New York in the early 1950s, this self‑pollinating variety ripens early and reliably, making it a superb choice for home landscapes and edible gardens. The foliage is lush and deep green through summer, and the vine can be trained beautifully on arbors, fences or trellises, adding both form and function. With its impressive productivity and tolerance for cooler climates.

Mildly Satisfied

"Called several times for advice and never rec'd a return call, so forged ahead as best I could with the help of google! First 30 days, got no results, with nothing happening. In desperation I cut both plants down to bumps near the base of the plants. Within a week the semblance of a leaf appeared on one plant and has exploded in growth since to over 2 feet! The second plant took longer to sprout a leaf, but has since begun to grow steadily. Needless to say I am so proud that they responded! My next challenge is how to prepare them for the winter?"
