Hibiscus - Dark Mystery

An eye-catching perennial rose mallow with rich, wine-purple foliage that forms a bold, rounded mound up to 1.5 m (5 ft) across. From midsummer into early fall, it produces spectacular 20–22 cm (8–9″) white, ruffled saucer blooms, each featuring dramatic dark-pink veins and a cherry-red eye that pops against the dark backdrop. Fast-growing and well-branched, this vigorous cultivar thrives in moist, average to medium–wet soils and flourishes in full to partial sun. A pollinator magnet that also resists deer, Dark Mystery makes a stunning specimen or focal point in garden beds and landscapes.
