Hosta – Fire and Ice
Elegant yet bold, Hosta ‘Fire and Ice’ features a reverse variegation from the well-loved ‘Patriot’ cultivar: creamy-white centers framed by deep forest-green margins on slightly twisted, satiny leaves. This mid-sized hosta forms a compact mound approximately 16–22 inches tall and spreads about 24–30 inches wide. In midsummer, it produces scapes of pale lavender blooms that add soft pans of color above the foliage. Well-suited to filtered shade or part shade in moist, organic soils, this cultivar thrives in Zones 2–9 and makes an excellent choice for edging, containers, or mass plantings.
