Hosta – Forbidden Fruit

A striking and vigorous sport of ‘Orange Marmalade’, Hosta ‘Forbidden Fruit’ features glossy, thick foliage with intense golden‑orange centers surrounded by broad blue-green margins, maintaining vivid contrast all summer long. It forms a large, upright mound approximately 20 inches tall and spreads about 36 inches wide, ideal for bold borders or spacious containers. In midsummer, it sends up graceful scapes of pale lavender blooms that attract hummingbirds and pollinators. Thick, durable leaves offer natural slug resistance and reliable performance in bright shade to part sun in moist, rich, well-drained soil.
