Hosta – Golden Tiara
Hosta ‘Golden Tiara’ is a compact, showy shade lover forming a neat mound of medium‑green, heart‑shaped leaves edged with irregular chartreuse‑yellow margins that deepen to gold in brighter light and gradually soften to cream. Its attractive foliage stands out in the garden, especially when contrasted with darker greens. In midsummer, upright scapes rise above the mound, bearing clusters of light purple to deeper lavender bell‑shaped flowers that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. This variety is vigorous, adaptable to drier shade conditions, and excellent in masses, containers, or as an edging plant.
