Hosta – Halcyon 🌿

Hosta tardiana ‘Halcyon’ is an iconic blue‑leaf hosta revered for its stunning, frosty blue‑green foliage and elegant mounding habit. The flat, spear‑shaped leaves are thick and heavily textured, forming a neat mound about 14 in tall and wider in spread, and retain their vivid color even into late summer. In mid‑to‑late summer (July–August), tall 26–28 in scapes rise above the foliage carrying racemes of pale lilac‑blue bell‑shaped flowers that draw hummingbirds and butterflies. This cultivar is slower‑growing, remarkably low‑maintenance, and known for its longevity and reliability in shaded gardens.
