Iris germanica - Discovered Treasure

A captivating tall-bearded iris offering large, heavily ruffled buff‑pink standards that gracefully arch above rich orchid‑violet falls, all crowned with vivid tangerine beards. The blooms emit a sweet, lingering fragrance that becomes especially noticeable in grouped plantings. Sturdy upright sword-shaped foliage reaches about 95 cm (38″), providing architectural contrast before and after flowering. A vigorous and deer‑resistant variety that performs best in well‑drained soil under full to partial sun, adding long‑lasting impact to garden borders and cutting beds.
