Iris pseudata - Night Thunder

Iris pseudata ‘Night Thunder’, also known as ‘Yarai’, is a vigorous perennial iris featuring unusual peach-toned flowers intricately veined and speckled with deep wine-purple, accented by a prominent golden-yellow signal. One of the earliest pseudata irises to flower, it produces well-branched stems above healthy, upright, sword-like green foliage in early summer. Growing approximately 65–75 cm (26–30 in.) tall, this moisture-loving iris thrives in sunny gardens and can even tolerate standing water, making it an excellent choice for rain gardens and pond edges. Its striking flowers attract bees and hummingbirds, resist deer and rabbits, and also make beautiful cut flowers
