This unique form of lettuce produces cylindrical, upright heads. The long, cupped leaves are
medium green, thick and crisp, and have a sweet, mild flavor. This variety is highly prized and
considered a gourmet delight. For best flavor and development, time crops to mature during cool weather. Provide light shade for summer sowing. Can sow again in later summer for a fall crop.
