Russell Mix Lupin is an easy to grow perennial. Growing in colorful spires, these flowers have a refreshing vibrancy in the garden. Hardy to zone 3 and overwinters when mulched. Zone 3

After danger of frost, sow in well-drained, moderately rich lime-free soil. To hasten germination, chill seed in refrigerator, then nick hard covering; soak overnight in warm water. When plants are 2 inches tall, thin to allow for spreading.

Germination is enhanced by soaking in water overnight before planting.
