Lupinus luteus
Bold, spiky blooms of brilliant golden yellow from late spring to early summer. This pollinator attractor will shine in any annual garden or wildflower planting. Mature garden height of about 60 cm (2'). A bee and butterfly favourite!
How to Grow
Sunny columns of bright golden yellow flowers, easy to grow in full sun to partial shade. Valued for their ability to flourish in sandy, nutrient-poor soils, and cooler summers. Has a strong tendency to self-seed. Start 4-6 weeks early indoors or direct garden sow mid-to-late May. Soak seed for a few hours before sowing or scarify with a file or sandpaper to allow moisture to penetrate their hard seedcoat.
