Phlox subulata - Candy Stripe

A delightful groundcover, ‘Candy Stripe’ creeping phlox forms a lush, low-growing carpet of evergreen, needle-like foliage, crowned in spring by abundant star-shaped blooms delicately striped in pink and white. This charming variety flourishes in sunny rock gardens, borders, and slopes, offering early-season color, low maintenance, and excellent soil stabilization. It’s drought-tolerant once established, deer-resistant, and happily attracts butterflies and other pollinators. Perfect for brightening hard-to-mow areas or adding a splash of spring cheer to containers and edging.

Packaging

Perennial plant orders will be shipped with wood shavings in the package to help insulate and protect the plants from the cold weather and movement during shipping. Wood shavings can be repurposed in the garden or composted upon receiving your order!
