Platycodon grandiflorus – Fuji White

A graceful perennial, the Fuji White balloon flower unfolds pure white, star‑shaped blooms—about 2 inches (5 cm) across—atop upright stems ranging from 12 to 24 inches (30–60 cm) tall. These elegant flowers appear in small clusters or singly from June through August in gardens with full sun to part shade, providing a beautifully bright splash in mid- to late summer. It thrives in rich, well‑drained soil, but avoid overly moist conditions to reduce the risk of root rot. Low maintenance, deer-resistant, and with minimal pest issues, Fuji White is perfect for borders, rock gardens, edging, or containers.
