SEED POTATOES - CHIEFTAIN RED

The versatile variety Chieftain Red features eye‑catching smooth bright red skin and clean white flesh, forming oval to oblong tubers with shallow to medium eyes — an attractive pop of colour straight from the garden. This mid‑season variety offers strong yields and wide adaptability across Canadian growing regions, making it a reliable choice for home gardeners. It excels for fresh‑use cooking: boiling, chipping, and French‑frying have all been noted. With good storage potential and hardy field performance, Chieftain Red blends practicality and presentation.
