Pulsatilla vulgaris - Rubra

A captivating early-spring perennial, Pulsatilla vulgaris ‘Rubra’ delights with nodding, cup-shaped flowers in rich burgundy-red tones complemented by sunny yellow centers. These striking blossoms emerge atop soft, silvery-green, finely divided foliage, followed by eye-catching feathery seed heads that add texture through late spring into summer. Compact and hardy, ‘Rubra’ is both rabbit- and deer-resistant, ideal for adding bold color to rock gardens, alpine beds, or sunny border fronts.
