Salvia nemorosa – Sensation Compact Deep Blue

Sensation compact Deep Blue is a compact, clump-forming perennial that enchants with dense, erect spikes of striking purple‑blue flowers in summer. Its aromatic grey‑green foliage forms an attractive, tidy mound that provides a pleasing backdrop to the vivid blooms. This cultivar is long‑blooming, drought‑tolerant once established, and prized by pollinators—bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds all flock to its nectar‑rich blooms. Its deer‑resistant nature and ability to tolerate a range of soil types and light conditions make it a dependable and low‑maintenance addition to mixed borders, containers, or wildlife gardens.
