Sedum takesimense - Atlantis

Sedum ‘Atlantis’ (also known as Sedum takesimense 'Atlantis' or Atlantis Splash Sedum) is a show-stopping, variegated stonecrop celebrated as the Chelsea Plant of the Year 2019. This captivating succulent forms a low, dense mound—about 4–6″ tall and spreading to 10–12″ across. Its scalloped rosettes showcase green foliage edged in creamy yellow, with stems that often glow pink, giving a charming “humbug”-like variegated appearance. Come summer, the plant produces pretty pink buds that open into yellow star-shaped flowers, drawing in pollinators like bees and butterflies In fall, the foliage blushes with a rose tint, adding vibrant seasonal interest. Exceptionally hardy, ‘Atlantis’ thrives in zones 4–9, is drought-tolerant, disease-resistant, and adapts beautifully to rock gardens, containers, green roofs, or as groundcover.
