This cultivar dates back centuries to ancient times. The usual history suggests tomatoes came from wild plants in Mexico. This large heart-shaped red fruit may put this premise in question. We received this amazing variety about 15 years ago from an American heirloom collector who has been one of the original supporters of Seeds of Diversity. This selection has narrow rugose foliage and produces well so provide good support. Expect some of the fruit to be irregular in shape. The taste is superb with a balanced acid/sweet taste.
