Tradescantia - Concord Grape

Clumping spiderwort 'Concord Grape' features slender, smoky bluish‑green foliage around 12–18″ tall by 18–24″ wide, topped with clusters of deep purplish‑blue flowers with bright yellow stamens. Each bloom opens early in the morning and typically lasts just a day, but new blooms appear in succession over several weeks, often reblooming after a mid‑season cut‑back. Particularly durable and adaptable, it thrives in moist, well‑drained soil and tolerates full sun to partial shade. Deer‑resistant and pollinator‑friendly, it’s an excellent choice for rain gardens, borders, and naturalized plantings.
