Trollius chinensis - Golden Queen

A majestic Chinese globeflower featuring 2–3" bowl-shaped blooms in radiant golden-orange, perched atop erect stems rising 24–36″ above deeply divided, glossy green foliage. From late spring into early summer (June–July), 'Golden Queen' lights up moist garden beds with vibrant colour that contrasts beautifully against lush leaves. Hardy in zones 2–7 and awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this clump-forming perennial thrives in bogs, pond edges, or rain gardens, requiring no staking. Its sturdy stems, excellent cut-flower value, and rabbit-resistance make it ideal for ornamental and functional plantings.
