A double version of the tulip ‘Queen of Night’, Tulip Black Hero is a Peony-flowering Tulip in a shade of burgundy so dark that it almost looks black. An easy-to-care-for, perennial, fall bulb. Planted in September and October you can expect full blooms in April - March. Plant 6 inches deep and 6 inches apart, in zone 3-8. Not Resistant to deer and toxic to pets. The Tulip Black Hero is fragrant and makes perfect fresh-cut flowers.
