Uvularia grandiflora
Uvularia grandiflora, commonly called Large-flowered Bellwort or Merry Bells, is a graceful woodland native that forms elegant clumps of vase-shaped stems adorned with glossy, lance-shaped leaves. In mid to late spring, each stem showcases one or two nodding, bell‑shaped yellow flowers with slightly twisted tepals, creating a delicate pendant effect. Growing to approximately 18–24″ (45–60 cm) tall and 12–18″ (30–45 cm) wide, it’s ideal for naturalizing under trees, along woodland edges, or in shaded borders. Hardy and low-maintenance, this rhizomatous perennial thrives in moist, humus-rich soil in part to full shade and supports early pollinators like bumblebees and mason bees
