This pretty allium variety mix includes Allium āMarsā, Allium āPurple Sensationā, and Allium āMt. Everestā. The soft violets of āMarsā and āPurple Sensationā are complemented well by the sparkling white of āMt. Everestā. Each variety can grow to a maximum height of approximately 36ā, with globe-shaped blooms 6ā in diameter, for planting in the fall months (Sept-Dec) in preparation for late spring (May - June) bloom. In moderately dry, well-draining soil, plant the bulbs at a depth of 6ā leaving approximately 12ā between each bulb. All varieties are perennial and grow best in hardiness zone 4, but are also suitable for zones 5 through 9. This easy-to-grow mix prefers full or partial sun and is resistant to deer, however, note that alliums are poisonous if ingested by pets. A satisfying mix of alliums that is great for naturalizing and landscaping!

"This tall mix looked horrible when I went to plant it. There were blackened holes, like they were rotten. All the tulips I ordered looked amazing and even the smaller allium looked good, it was just the tall ones that looked bad. I threw them into the ground. We’ll see what happens in the spring."
