GOURMET SEED POTATOES - VIOLET QUEEN

Violet Queen is a visually dramatic potato boasting vivid purple skin and deep purple‑coloured flesh that retains its hue even after cooking. The tubers are oval to long‑oval and medium sized, with shallow eyes and good resistance to common scab and tuber blight. Developed from Peruvian heritage germplasm, this variety offers a sweet‐earthy flavour with a hint of beet‐like aroma when cooked. Well suited to home gardens across Canada, this mid‑season variety delivers both yield and visual flair for gourmet dishes.
